December 29, 2023: Carlisle, PA 17013 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Williamsport Millionaires (Williamsport, PA) and the host Carlisle Thundering Herd (Carlisle, PA), saw Williamsport's basketball squad overcome Carlisle by a tally of 45-25.
With the victory, Williamsport improves its record to 4-4 on the campaign. The Millionaires travel to Delone Catholic (McSherrystown, PA) to confront the Squires in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 30. The Squires come into the challenge with a record of 7-0. Delone Catholic won 54-32 in their recent league challenge against York Catholic (York, PA)
Next up, the Thundering Herd confront the State College Little Lions (State College, PA) in a Mid-Penn - Commonwealth challenge, on Wednesday, January 3. Carlisle will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record. The Little Lions come into the challenge with a 5-3 record after their 44-37 non-league win over Shaler Area (Pittsburgh, PA).
