Missouri High School Basketball - Carthage crushes Greenwood
December 29, 2023: Carthage, MO 64836 Carthage Tigers (Carthage, MO) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Greenwood Blue Jays (Springfield, MO), 58-26 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Carthage improves its record to 5-6 on the campaign. The Tigers host West Plains (West Plains, MO) to confront the Zizzers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 30. The Zizzers come into the challenge with a record of 4-4. West Plains lost 59-43 in their recent non-league challenge against Willard (Willard, MO)
Next up, the Blue Jays confront the Fordland Eagles (Fordland, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 12. Greenwood will attempt to improve on its 8-9 season record.
