Palisades Pumas (Charlotte, NC) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Catawba Ridge Copperheads (Fort Mill, SC), 50-46 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Palisades upgrades its record to 6-7 on the campaign. The Pumas travel to Dutch Fork (Irmo, SC) to play the Silver Foxes in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 30. The Silver Foxes come into the bout with a record of 11-2. Dutch Fork won 52-41 in their recent non-league bout against Marvin Ridge (Waxhaw, NC)

Next up, the Copperheads play the Marvin Ridge Mavericks (Waxhaw, NC) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 30. Catawba Ridge will attempt to upgrade on its 2-11 season record. The Mavericks come into the bout with a 9-3 record after their 52-41 non-league loss to Dutch Fork (Irmo, SC).
