December 29, 2023: Dunlap, IL 61525 The Dunlap Eagles tipped the visiting Centralia Orphans basketball team by a final score of 46-39 in Friday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Eagles face the Morton Potters (Morton, IL) in a Mid-Illini game, on Friday, January 5. Dunlap will attempt to move on its 9-7 season record. The Potters enter the game with a 14-4 record after their 51-46 non-league loss to Normal Community (Normal, IL).
With the defeat, Centralia moves to 9-6 on the year. The Orphans host Carbondale (Carbondale, IL) to face the Terriers in a South Seven game on Thursday, January 4. The Terriers enter the game with a record of 7-12.
