The Torrey Pines Falcons basketball team scored 48 points and held the visiting Cerritos Dons to 30 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Friday.

The Falcons now sport a 5-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to California for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 30. Torrey Pines will meet a Grizzlies team coming off a 52-34 non-league win over Canyon (Anaheim, CA). The Grizzlies record now stands at 12-2.

The Dons (7-8) will now prepare for their contest against El Capitan (Lakeside, CA). The Vaqueros enter the non-league contest with a 8-6 record. In their last contest, El Capitan was outscored by Diamond Bar (Diamond Bar, CA), 49-45, in a non-league contest.
