The Gators now sport a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Newton County for a 4A Region 4 battle on Tuesday, January 2. Leake Central will battle a Cougars team coming off a 34-31 non-league loss to Morton (Morton, MS). The Cougars record now stands at 8-6.
The Chargers (8-6) will now prepare for their battle against McAdams (McAdams, MS). The Bulldogs come into the non-league battle with a 6-10 record.
