December 29, 2023: Abilene, TX 79605 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Cooper Cougars (Abilene, TX) and the visiting Midland Bulldogs (Midland, TX), saw Cooper's basketball squad knock off Midland by a count of 60-49.
With the victory, Cooper upgrades its record to 9-13 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Pebble Hills (El Paso, TX) to play the Spartans in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 30. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 16-6. Pebble Hills won 48-36 in their recent non-league challenge against Midland Legacy (Midland, TX)
Next up, the Bulldogs play the Crandall Pirates (Crandall, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 30. Midland will attempt to upgrade on its 10-10 season record. The Pirates come into the challenge with a 4-12 record after their 52-40 non-league loss to Pebble Hills (El Paso, TX).
