Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Huntington Locomotives (Huntington, OR) and the host Cove Leopards (Cove, OR), saw Huntington's basketball squad hold off Cove by a tally of 39-38.

With the victory, Huntington improves its record to 1-4 on the campaign. The Locomotives travel to Imbler (Imbler, OR) to play the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 29. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 10-3. Imbler won 43-30 in their recent non-league challenge against Enterprise (Enterprise, OR)

Next up, the Leopards play the Adrian Antelopes (Adrian, OR) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 4. Cove will attempt to improve on its 4-12 season record. The Antelopes come into the challenge with a 7-2 record after their 55-30 non-league win over Ontario (Ontario, OR).
