The Cypress Springs Panthers basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the host West Brook Bruins to 37 in the Panthers non-league victory on Friday.

The Panthers now sport a 17-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cypress Falls for a 6A Region II District 16 contest on Saturday, January 6.

The Bruins (21-4) will now prepare for their contest against North Shore (Houston, TX). The Mustangs come into the 6A Region III District 21 contest with a 13-10 record. In their last contest, North Shore was routed by Langham Creek (Houston, TX), 58-37, in a non-league contest.
