December 29, 2023: Lewiston, ME 04240 The Deering Rams basketball team (Portland, ME), was overwhelmed 55-34 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Lewiston Blue Devils (Lewiston, ME)
The Blue Devils now possess a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Portland for a AA North battle on Tuesday, January 2. Lewiston will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 49-38 non-league win over Kennebunk (Kennebunk, ME). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-5.
The Rams (2-4) will now prepare for their battle against Mt. Ararat (Topsham, ME). The Eagles come into the A South battle with a 6-0 record. In their last battle, Mt. Ararat trounced Oxford Hills (South Paris, ME), 49-39, in a non-league battle.
