December 29, 2023: Orlando, FL 32817 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Downey Christian Patriots (Orlando, FL) and the visiting North Miami Pioneers (North Miami, FL), saw Downey Christian's basketball squad knock off North Miami by a tally of 46-38.
With the victory, Downey Christian improves its record to 5-8 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Seminole (Sanford, FL) to play the Seminoles in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 30. The Seminoles come into the challenge with a record of 8-4. Seminole won 49-37 in their recent non-league challenge against Edgewater (Orlando, FL)
Next up, the Pioneers play the East River Falcons (Orlando, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 30. North Miami will attempt to improve on its 4-6 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 7-6 record after their 49-45 non-league loss to Plant (Tampa, FL).
