The Lawrence Central Bears basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the visiting Hammond Bishop Noll Warriors to 8 in the Bears non-league victory on Friday.

The Bears now sport a 18-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Carmel for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 4. Lawrence Central will meet a Greyhounds team coming off a 57-42 non-league loss to Franklin Community (Franklin, IN). The Greyhounds record now stands at 7-8.

With the defeat, Hammond Bishop Noll moves to 5-6 on the year. The Warriors host Andrean (Merrillville, IN) to meet the Fighting 59ers in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 2.
