Alabama High School Basketball - Hoover tops Rogers
December 29, 2023: Hoover, AL 35244 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Hoover Buccaneers (Hoover, AL) and the visiting Rogers Rams (Toledo, OH), saw Hoover's basketball squad knock off Rogers by a tally of 63-47.
With the victory, Hoover improves its record to 12-4 on the campaign. The Buccaneers host Thompson (Alabaster, AL) to play the Warriors in a 7A Area 5 challenge on Friday, January 5. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 12-10. Thompson won 44-39 in their recent non-league challenge against Southside (Gadsden, AL)
Next up, the Rams play the Renaissance Phoenix (Detroit, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 2. Rogers will attempt to improve on its 7-4 season record.
