The Horizon Scorpions basketball team (El Paso, TX), was overwhelmed 51-26 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Midland Classical Academy Knights (Midland, TX)

The Knights now possess a 12-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kermit for a non-league battle on Saturday, December 30. Midland Classical Academy will battle a Yellow Jackets team coming off a 67-30 non-league loss to Odessa (Odessa, TX). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 10-10.

The Scorpions (4-12) will now prepare for their battle against Andress (El Paso, TX). The Eagles come into the non-league battle with a 9-11 record. In their last battle, Andress trounced Chaparral (Chaparral, NM), 49-33, in a non-league battle.
