The Howard Lions basketball team scored 43 points and held the visiting Mount de Sales Academy Sailors to 30 in the Lions non-league triumph on Friday.

The Lions now sport a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Marriotts Ridge for a Howard County contest on Wednesday, January 3. Howard will meet a team coming off a 53-21 non-league loss to Walter Johnson (Bethesda, MD). The record now stands at 0-7.

The Sailors (6-3) will now prepare for their contest against Dulaney (Timonium, MD). The Lions enter the non-league contest with a 3-0 record.
