Georgia High School Basketball - Jackson County falls to Jefferson
December 29, 2023: Jefferson, GA 30548 In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Jefferson Dragons basketball team scored a good 59-43 triumph over the Jackson County Panthers.
In their next game, the Dragons meet the Cass Colonels (White, GA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, December 30. Jefferson will attempt to better on its 11-2 season record. The Colonels enter the match with a 10-3 record after their 66-51 non-league win over Heritage (Conyers, GA).
With the defeat, Jackson County moves to 2-9 on the year. The Panthers host Apalachee (Winder, GA) to meet the Wildcats in a AAAAAA Region 8 match on Wednesday, January 3. The Wildcats enter the match with a record of 5-7. Apalachee lost 68-32 in their recent non-league match against Central Gwinnett (Lawrenceville, GA)
