With the victory, Jones improves its record to 13-10 on the campaign. The Trojans host Sinton (Sinton, TX) to confront the Pirates in a 4A Region IV District 30 challenge on Tuesday, January 2. The Pirates come into the challenge with a record of 3-14. Sinton won 37-27 in their recent non-league challenge against Skidmore-Tynan (Skidmore, TX)
Next up, the Cougars confront the Cedar Creek Eagles (Cedar Creek, TX) in a 5A Region III District 23 challenge, on Friday, January 5. Pflugerville Connally will attempt to improve on its 10-9 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 7-13 record after their 68-57 non-league loss to Anderson (Austin, TX).
