The Lake Norman Charter Knights topped the host North Gaston Wildcats basketball team by a final score of 41-30 in Friday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Knights face the Robinson Bulldogs (Concord, NC) in a 3A South Piedmont game, on Friday, January 5. Lake Norman Charter will attempt to move on its 3-9 season record. The Bulldogs enter the game with a 8-2 record after their 52-40 non-league loss to East Lincoln (Denver, NC).

With the defeat, North Gaston moves to 3-7 on the year. The Wildcats host Forestview (Gastonia, NC) to face the Jaguars in a 3A Big South game on Tuesday, January 9.
