Texas High School Basketball - Ozona trounces Lorenzo
December 29, 2023: Ozona, TX 76943 The Ozona Lions (Ozona, TX) basketball crushed the visiting Lorenzo Hornets (Lorenzo, TX), 70-18 in Friday's non-league test.
The Lions (19-2) will now prepare for their test against Wink (Wink, TX). The Wildcats go into the non-league test with a 9-7 record. In their last test, Wink was trounced by Denver City (Denver City, TX), 49-39, in a non-league test.
The Hornets now own a 3-8 record. They play next when they travel to Borden County for a 1A Region I District 6 test on Tuesday, January 2. Lorenzo will encounter a Coyotes squad coming off a 59-42 non-league loss to Farwell (Farwell, TX). The Coyotes record now stands at 7-3.
