The Marion Center Stingers basketball team scored 55 points and held the visiting Redbank Valley Bulldogs to 37 in the Stingers non-league triumph on Friday.

The Stingers now sport a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Homer-Center for a Heritage contest on Wednesday, January 3. Marion Center will play a Wildcats squad coming off a 49-37 non-league loss to Richland (Johnstown, PA). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-4.

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Moniteau Warriors (West Sunbury, PA) in a Keystone Shortway bout, on Wednesday, January 3. Redbank Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 7-2 season record. The Warriors come into the bout with a 10-1 record after their 66-24 non-league win over Sewickley Academy (Sewickley, PA).
