Texas High School Basketball - Midway thwarts Timber Creek
December 29, 2023: Waco, TX 76712 The Midway Panthers (Waco, TX) basketball knocked off the visiting Timber Creek Falcons (Fort Worth, TX), 49-30 in Friday's non-league test.
The Panthers (14-9) will now prepare for their test against Magnolia West (Magnolia, TX). The Mustangs go into the non-league test with a 13-7 record. In their last test, Magnolia West went down by Lake Creek (Montgomery, TX), 65-41, in a league test.
The Falcons now own a 12-9 record. They play next when they travel to Lovejoy for a non-league test on Friday, December 29. Timber Creek will encounter a Leopards squad coming off a 84-37 non-league loss to Boswell (Fort Worth, TX). The Leopards record now stands at 15-8.
