Alabama High School Basketball - Plainview knocked off by Mortimer Jordan
December 29, 2023: Rainsville, AL 35986 The Mortimer Jordan Blue Devils basketball team scored 81 points and held the host Plainview Bears to 63 in the Blue Devils non-league triumph on Friday.
The Blue Devils now sport a 14-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hayden for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 4. Mortimer Jordan will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 73-21 non-league loss to Glencoe (Glencoe, AL). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-13.
The Bears (16-4) will now prepare for their contest against Scottsboro (Scottsboro, AL). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 11-4 record. In their last contest, Scottsboro ran past Pell City (Pell City, AL), 51-41, in a non-league contest.
