Maryland High School Basketball - Trinity trounces Mountain Ridge
December 29, 2023: Frostburg, MD 21532 The Trinity Hillers (Washington, PA) basketball crushed the host Mountain Ridge Miners (Frostburg, MD), 67-46 in Friday's non-league test.
The Hillers (6-1) will now prepare for their test against Southern (Oakland, MD). The Rams go into the non-league test with a 6-1 record. In their last test, Southern walloped James Wood (Winchester, VA), 49-33, in a non-league test.
The Miners now own a 6-2 record. They play next when they travel to South Park for a non-league test on Saturday, December 30. Mountain Ridge will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 59-39 non-league loss to East Fairmont (Fairmont, WV). The Eagles record now stands at 4-2.
