Georgia High School Basketball - Pope trounces North Gwinnett
December 29, 2023: Marietta, GA 30062 The Pope Greyhounds (Marietta, GA) basketball crushed the visiting North Gwinnett Bulldogs (Suwanee, GA), 75-42 in Friday's non-league test.
The Greyhounds (11-4) will now prepare for their test against South Forsyth (Cumming, GA). The War Eagles go into the non-league test with a 7-5 record. In their last test, South Forsyth walloped North Gwinnett (Suwanee, GA), 53-50, in a non-league test.
The Bulldogs now own a 4-7 record. They play next when they travel to Denmark for a non-league test on Saturday, December 30. North Gwinnett will encounter a squad coming off a 51-47 non-league win over Walton (Marietta, GA). The record now stands at 8-6.
