New Jersey High School Basketball - North Hunterdon holds off Paramus Catholic
December 29, 2023: Annandale, NJ 08801 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the North Hunterdon Lions (Annandale, NJ) and the visiting Paramus Catholic Paladins (Paramus, NJ), saw North Hunterdon's basketball squad hold off Paramus Catholic by a tally of 51-46.
With the victory, North Hunterdon improves its record to 2-6 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Montgomery (Skillman, NJ) to confront the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 4. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 3-3. Montgomery won 42-37 in their recent league challenge against Bridgewater-Raritan (Bridgewater, NJ)
Next up, the Paladins confront the Academy of the Holy Angels Angels (Demarest, NJ) in a Big North - United challenge, on Tuesday, January 2. Paramus Catholic will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record. The Angels come into the challenge with a 3-2 record after their 45-28 non-league win over NV - Old Tappan (Old Tappan, NJ).
