December 29, 2023: Cold Spring, MN 56320 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Proctor Rails (Proctor, MN) and the host Rocori Spartans (Cold Spring, MN), saw Proctor's basketball squad wallop Rocori by a tally of 66-38.
With the victory, Proctor improves its record to 8-3 on the campaign. The Rails host Cloquet (Cloquet, MN) to confront the Lumberjacks in a AAA Section 7 challenge on Tuesday, January 2. The Lumberjacks come into the challenge with a record of 8-2. Cloquet lost 67-57 in their recent league challenge against Rock Ridge co-op [Eveleth-Gilbert/Virginia] (Eveleth, MN)
Next up, the Spartans confront the Willmar Cardinals (Willmar, MN) in a AAA Section 8 challenge, on Thursday, January 4. Rocori will attempt to improve on its 1-8 season record.
