December 29, 2023: Tiverton, RI 02878 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Tiverton Tigers (Tiverton, RI) and the visiting Rogers Vikings (Newport, RI), saw Tiverton's basketball squad hold off Rogers by a tally of 41-35.
With the victory, Tiverton improves its record to 2-4 on the campaign. The Tigers host Shea (Pawtucket, RI) to play the Raiders in a Division 2 challenge on Wednesday, January 3. The Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 5-1. Shea won 56-42 in their recent league challenge against Mt. Hope (Bristol, RI)
