December 29, 2023: Tahlequah, OK 74464 The Tahlequah Tigers (Tahlequah, OK) basketball knocked off the visiting Verdigris Cardinals (Claremore, OK), 59-49 in Friday's non-league test.
The Tigers (9-1) will now prepare for their test against Purcell (Purcell, OK). The Dragons go into the non-league test with a 6-0 record.
The Cardinals now own a 7-4 record. They play next when they host Inola for a Verdigris Valley test on Tuesday, January 2. Verdigris will encounter a Longhorns squad coming off a 71-32 league win over Sequoyah (Claremore, OK). The Longhorns record now stands at 4-2.
