New Mexico High School Basketball - Cleveland tops Mescalero Apache
December 29, 2023: Mescalero, NM 88340 Cleveland Storm (Rio Rancho, NM) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Mescalero Apache Chiefs (Mescalero, NM), 43-35 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Cleveland upgrades its record to 2-4 on the campaign. The Storm host Capital (Santa Fe, NM) to play the Jaguars in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 2. The Jaguars come into the bout with a record of 2-3. Capital lost 36-16 in their recent non-league bout against Santa Fe Indian (Santa Fe, NM)
Next up, the Chiefs play the Texico Wolverines (Texico, NM) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 4. Mescalero Apache will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
