California High School Soccer - Orange Lutheran nudges Flintridge Prep
December 29, 2023: Orange, CA 92867 Orange Lutheran Lancers (Orange, CA) fans were thrilled Friday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Flintridge Prep Wolves (La Canada, CA), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Lancers confront the Mater Dei Monarchs (Santa Ana, CA) in a Trinity challenge, on Thursday, January 4. Orange Lutheran will attempt to better on its 6-4 season record. The Monarchs enter the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Millikan (Long Beach, CA).
The Wolves now have a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Granada Hills Charter for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, January 3. Flintridge Prep will confront a Highlanders team coming off a 12-0 non-league win over Golden Valley (Santa Clarita, CA). The Highlanders record now stands at 4-2.
