The Cougars now possess a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Colfax for a non-league battle on Friday, January 5. Chewelah will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 59-41 non-league win over Lakeside (Nine Mile Falls, WA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-0.
The Spartans (1-8) will now prepare for their battle against Pomeroy (Pomeroy, WA). The Pirates come into the non-league battle with a 5-3 record. In their last battle, Pomeroy trounced Waitsburg/Prescott (Waitsburg, WA), 38-11, in a non-league battle.
