California High School Basketball - Coronado nips Ramona
December 29, 2023: Coronado, CA 92118 Coronado Islanders (Coronado, CA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Ramona Bulldogs (Ramona, CA), 40-36 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Coronado upgrades its record to 4-6 on the campaign. The Islanders travel to Eastlake (Chula Vista, CA) to play the Titans in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 30. The Titans come into the bout with a record of 10-8. Eastlake lost 49-38 in their recent non-league bout against Mater Dei Catholic (Chula Vista, CA)
Next up, the Bulldogs play the Point Loma Pointers (San Diego, CA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 30. Ramona will attempt to upgrade on its 4-10 season record. The Pointers come into the bout with a 6-5 record after their 62-36 non-league win over Orange Glen (Escondido, CA).
