California High School Basketball - West Valley fells Desert Hot Springs
December 29, 2023: Hemet, CA 92545 West Valley Mustangs (Hemet, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Desert Hot Springs Golden Eagles (Desert Hot Springs, CA), 49-30 in a non-league bout.
With the win, West Valley upgrades its record to 2-2 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Liberty (Winchester, CA) to play the Bison in a bout on Thursday, January 18. The Bison go into the bout with a record of 10-4.
Next up, the Golden Eagles play the Coachella Valley Mighty Arabs (Thermal, CA) in a bout, on Wednesday, January 3. Desert Hot Springs will attempt to upgrade on its 3-9 season record. The Mighty Arabs go into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 48-26 league loss to Twentynine Palms (Twentynine Palms, CA).
