North Carolina High School Basketball - Grayson County can't hold off East Wilkes
December 29, 2023: Ronda, NC 28670 The Grayson County Blue Devils basketball team (Independence, VA), was nudged 38-31 in Friday's non-league battle with the host East Wilkes Cardinals (Ronda, NC)
The Cardinals now possess a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Surry for a non-league battle on Wednesday, January 3. East Wilkes will battle a Greyhounds team coming off a 70-63 non-league loss to Calvary Day School (Winston-Salem, NC). The Greyhounds record now stands at 0-5.
The Blue Devils (1-6) will now prepare for their battle against Auburn (Riner, VA). The Eagles come into the non-league battle with a 0-4 record. In their last battle, Auburn was nudged by Northside (Roanoke, VA), 66-25, in a non-league battle.
