December 29, 2023: Shenandoah, VA 22849 The Fort Defiance Indians (Fort Defiance, VA) basketball knocked off the host Page County Panthers (Shenandoah, VA), 55-45 in Friday's non-league test.
The Indians (4-5) will now prepare for their test against Rockbridge County (Lexington, VA). The Wildcats go into the non-league test with a 0-9 record. In their last test, Rockbridge County went down by Parry McCluer (Buena Vista, VA), 41-39, in a non-league test.
The Panthers now own a 2-8 record. They play next when they travel to Central Woodstock for a non-league test on Wednesday, January 3. Page County will encounter a Falcons squad coming off a 38-26 non-league loss to Rappahannock County (Washington, VA). The Falcons record now stands at 2-5.
