Virginia High School Basketball - King George edges Lackey
December 29, 2023: King George, VA 22485 The King George Foxes (King George, VA) basketball nipped the visiting Lackey Chargers (Indian Head, MD), 34-31 in Friday's non-league test.
The Foxes (4-2) will now prepare for their test against Eastern View (Culpeper, VA). The Cyclones go into the non-league test with a 0-6 record. In their last test, Eastern View was tipped by Albemarle (Charlottesville, VA), 63-13, in a non-league test.
The Chargers now own a 1-7 record. They play next when they host Westlake for a non-league test on Friday, January 5. Lackey will encounter a Wolverines squad coming off a 68-42 non-league win over Lackey (Indian Head, MD). The Wolverines record now stands at 2-1.
