California High School Basketball - La Canada crushes Maranatha
December 29, 2023: Pasadena, CA 91105 La Canada Spartans (La Canada, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Maranatha Minutemen (Pasadena, CA), 63-33 in a non-league bout.
With the win, La Canada upgrades its record to 17-2 on the season. The Spartans host Monrovia (Monrovia, CA) to play the Wildcats in a bout on Wednesday, January 10. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 1-2.
Next up, the Minutemen play the Village Christian Crusaders (Sun Valley, CA) in a bout, on Tuesday, January 2. Maranatha will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Crusaders go into the bout with a 11-4 record after their 65-45 non-league loss to Herriman (West Herriman, UT).
