Mount Carmel RED TORNADOES (Mount Carmel, PA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Marian Catholic (Tamaqua, PA), 49-39 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Mount Carmel upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The RED TORNADOES travel to Southern Columbia Area (Catawissa, PA) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 3. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 0-0.
