Mission Bay Buccaneers (San Diego, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Mission Hills Grizzlies (San Marcos, CA), 63-49 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Mission Bay upgrades its record to 14-1 on the season. The Buccaneers travel to Madison (San Diego, CA) to clash with the Warhawks in a bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Warhawks go into the bout with a record of 1-9.

Next up, the Grizzlies clash with the Otay Ranch Mustangs (Chula Vista, CA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 5. Mission Hills will attempt to upgrade on its 8-3 season record.
