Massachusetts High School Basketball - Sutton/Douglas nips St. Bernard's Central Catholic
December 29, 2023: Sutton, MA 01590 Sutton/Douglas Sammies (Sutton, MA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting St. Bernard's Central Catholic Bernardians (Fitchburg, MA), 43-42 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Sutton/Douglas upgrades its record to 2-3 on the season. The Sammies travel to Hopedale (Hopedale, MA) to play the Blue Raiders in a bout on Wednesday, January 3. The Blue Raiders go into the bout with a record of 1-2. Hopedale lost 43-19 in their recent non-league bout against Holliston (Holliston, MA)
Next up, the Bernardians play the St. Paul Knights (Worcester, MA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 4. St. Bernard's Central Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record.
