Hughes BIG RED (Cincinnati, OH) boosters left the game satisfied Sunday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Holy Trinity Titans (Hicksville, NY), 61-50 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Hughes upgrades its record to 6-3 on the year. The BIG RED travel to Wagner (Staten Island, NY) to face the Falcons in a non-league match on Monday, December 30. The Falcons enter the match with a record of 3-3. Wagner won 77-72 in their recent league match against Curtis (Staten Island, NY)

The Titans now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mount Vernon for a non-league match on Sunday, January 5. Holy Trinity will face a Knights squad coming off a 49-45 non-league win over Hillhouse (New Haven, CT). The Knights record now stands at 5-2.
