New York High School Basketball - Canandaigua Academy trounced by Shenendehowa
December 29, 2024: Canandaigua, NY 14424 Shenendehowa Plainsmen (Clifton Park, NY) supporters left the game happy Sunday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Canandaigua Academy Braves (Canandaigua, NY), 66-42 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Shenendehowa advances its record to 6-1 on the year. The Plainsmen travel to Averill Park (Averill Park, NY) to meet the Warriors in a Section 2 Suburban match on Tuesday, January 7. The Warriors enter the match with a record of 7-2. Averill Park won 54-32 in their recent non-league match against Harrison (Harrison, NY)
The Braves now own a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Saugerties for a non-league match on Sunday, December 29. Canandaigua Academy will meet a Sawyers squad coming off a 42-32 non-league loss to Amsterdam (Amsterdam, NY). The Sawyers record now stands at 2-2.
