The Roosevelt Roughriders (Seattle, WA) basketball were winner over the visiting Palo Verde Valley Yellow Jackets (Blythe, CA), 64-44 in Monday's non-league bout.

The Roughriders now possess a 3-5 record. They play next when they travel to Rainier Beach for a 3A Metro test on Tuesday, January 6.

The Yellow Jackets (5-8) will now prepare for their test against Cathedral City (Cathedral City, CA). The Lions come into the non-league test with a 0-13 record. In their last test, Cathedral City was knocked off by Central (El Centro, CA), 72-37, in a non-league test.
