New Mexico High School Basketball - Sandia Prep can't hold off Albuquerque Academy
December 3, 2021: Albuquerque, NM 87113 The Albuquerque Academy Chargers basketball team scored 60 points and restricted the host Sandia Prep Sundevils to 54 in the Chargers non-league victory on Friday.
The Chargers now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Belen for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 4. Albuquerque Academy will battle a Eagles team coming off a 57-55 non-league win over St. Pius X (Albuquerque, NM). The Eagles record now stands at 4-0.
The Sundevils (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against St. Pius X (Albuquerque, NM). The Sartans come into the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, St. Pius X was nudged by Belen (Belen, NM), 57-55, in a non-league contest.
