In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Covenant Day Lions basketball team scored a tight 46-44 triumph over the Cardinal Gibbons Crusaders.

In their next game, the Lions face the GRACE Christian Eagles (Raleigh, NC) in a non-league match, on Saturday, December 4. Covenant Day will attempt to move on its 7-1 season record. The Eagles enter the match with a 4-7 record after their 44-43 non-league loss to High Point Christian Academy (High Point, NC).
