Kentucky High School Basketball - McCreary Central fells Rockcastle County
December 3, 2021: Stearns, KY 42647 McCreary Central Raiders (Stearns, KY) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Rockcastle County Rockets (Mt. Vernon, KY), 68-59 in a non-league bout.
With the win, McCreary Central upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Raiders travel to Pulaski County (Somerset, KY) to play the Maroons in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 7. The Maroons go into the bout with a record of 3-0. Pulaski County won 70-63 in their recent non-league bout against Danville (Danville, KY)
Next up, the Rockets play the Harlan County Black Bears (Harlan, KY) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 4. Rockcastle County will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Black Bears go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 86-62 non-league win over Perry County Central (Hazard, KY).
