Indiana High School Basketball - Andrean holds off Highland
December 3, 2021: Merrillville, IN 46410 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Andrean Fighting 59ers (Merrillville, IN) and the visiting Highland Trojans (Highland, IN), saw Andrean's basketball squad hold off Highland by a tally of 60-59.
With the victory, Andrean improves its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Fighting 59ers host Lake Central (St. John, IN) to confront the Indians in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 7. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 8-1. Lake Central won 65-54 in their recent league challenge against Merrillville (Merrillville, IN)
Next up, the Trojans confront the Illiana Christian Vikings (Dyer, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 4. Highland will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 1-7 record after their 29-12 non-league win over Victory Christian Academy (Valparaiso, IN).
