The Comets now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Northern Michigan Christian for a Highland battle on Tuesday, December 7. Leland will battle a Comets team coming off a 44-27 league win over Beal City (Mt. Pleasant, MI). The Comets record now stands at 1-0.
The Rayders (0-2) will now prepare for their battle against Gaylord (Gaylord, MI). The Blue Devils come into the Big North battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, Gaylord edged Cheboygan (Cheboygan, MI), 52-24, in a non-league battle.
