Bishop McGuinness Villains (Kernersville, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Christ the King Crusaders (Huntersville, NC), 55-41 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Bishop McGuinness upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Villains travel to East Forsyth (Kernersville, NC) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 7. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 0-1. East Forsyth lost 49-44 in their recent non-league bout against Walkertown (Walkertown, NC)

Next up, the Crusaders play the Corvian Community Cardinals (Charlotte, NC) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 6. Christ the King will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Cardinals go into the bout with a 1-3 record after their 57-53 non-league loss to Rocky River (Mint Hill, NC).
