Texas High School Basketball - Incarnate Word Academy edges Bloomington
December 3, 2022: Bloomington, TX 77951 The Incarnate Word Academy Angels (Corpus Christi, TX) basketball nipped the host Bloomington Bobcats/Lady Cats (Bloomington, TX), 57-54 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Angels (6-4) will now prepare for their test against Texas School for the Deaf (Austin, TX). The Rangers go into the TAPPS 4A District 3 test with a 0-3 record. In their last test, Texas School for the Deaf was tipped by Northeast Early College (Austin, TX), 68-23, in a non-league test.
The Bobcats/Lady Cats now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to George West for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 6. Bloomington will encounter a Longhorns squad coming off a 67-55 non-league win over Banquete (Banquete, TX). The Longhorns record now stands at 4-0.
